I have been dreaming of remodeling our kitchen for years. We are on the precipice of making this happen. I loved Lauren from Lovely Lark's take on a budget-friendly version.
Really, I'd love some resolution to my drop down ceiling embarrassment. Perhaps, such as this:
I actually have this sink in our basement. Also, opening up the wall above the sink for windows will be key. Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy.
Here is the full on inspiration:
Beamed ceilings, white open cabinets.
And how could I deny black and white tile.
I have the exact same photo with the black and white tiles in my own kitchen inspiration file! Alas, my kitchen will likely be my very last room to re-do, and at my going rate of one to two rooms a year...yeah, going to be awhile.
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain Marcy! A newly broken sink in our master means that I may have to put this dream on hold for awhile. When it is realized though.... black and white tile!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great picture to use as an inspiration. Keep dreaming and things will soon take shape. I know how hard i can be to put things on hold for some time. My wife and I have been remodelling our house now for over 3 years and things look no where close to finished, thanks for sharing this.

Thanks so much Essie! I am trying to enjoy the process. Good luck on your renovation!
DeleteWe have large windows in our kitchen. They weren't hard to install at all, and because they’re large, we save a huge sum on electricity bills because they improve the room’s lighting. Once you get to washing dishes and cooking, you'll appreciate the open feeling that the windows offer more than with the smaller windows.
ReplyDeleteI dream of natural light in there Arthur!
DeleteWonderful article, thanks for putting this together! This is obviously one great post. Thanks for the valuable information and insights you have so provided here. remodel
ReplyDeleteSpot on with this write-up, I actually suppose this website needs far more consideration. I’ll most likely be once more to read much more, thanks for that info. kitchen remodel
